Decorating and Building??
Well, since we are pretty much assuming travel won't happen until the end of Feb/beginning of March, we didn't totally rush to finish Rylie's room. We did have it painted and new carpet before Christmas, but not much else. That has changed..the furniture is in, the bedding is in the crib and last night we hung the drapes/curtains. I love it!! It is so girly. I will take pictures after its completely finished and post here.
The building is that we are undertaking building a shelving/cubes all the way down a 17 foot wall in the playroom. The toys are overwhelming, so John and Pop Pop are working on the details now. "Bob the Builder" who works for John and John are hoping to commence work next week!! Lets hope!

Horse Party a Success!!
Well we had Lexi's party and it was a huge success...extremely tiring..Lexi is passed out now. She loved the whole party. Despite the drizzle/light rain, they did the carriage rides and the kids loved it!!!! They loved seeing the horses and it was perfect. Lexi rode for well over a hour because since she was the "princess" she got to ride the whole time with all of her 25 friends!! Yes, 25...Crazy!!!! but we had a great time, thanks to some big help from A. Jodi and U. Chris..Thanks guys!!! I'll post a few pictures here when I upload them.

Travel Meeting
Well, we had our travel meeting via teleconference tonight. While I feel confident that the trip will not be a problem, I do not feel confident in our ability to travel prior to TET. Most of the country will shut down for business between the 17th and 24th of February, making it difficult to imagine that we will travel prior to then. Although we were hopeful that we would, if that would extend our trip to even longer than three+ weeks, its better to wait. This is all what I am assuming will occur, not what we were told. It was basically said that if the Ministry of Justice gives you a signing date, we go...but I think its likely to be after TET....I'll update again when I know more..not sure when that will be.
First Post!!
Well I just set up this blog in hopes that it will be easier for people to get to than the other one...we'll see.
Heres where we are as of the moment to get everyone up to speed!!
Tonight is our travel meeting, so we are hopeful that that means we will be traveling soon...the group before us leaves for Vietnam on the 13th. We sent a Sassy book of pictures of Lexi, John, and I for Tammy to leave at Picasso for Rylie, since their baby girl is there. Lexi also picked a cute blanket doll for them to take..we are hopeful that she'll get the stuff, but at least if she doesn't, someone will, and they all need toys, right???
We've been working on the nursery and hope to have it all complete by next week. We've been busy planning Lexi's b-day party for this weekend...now they are calling for rain...if it rains, no horse and carriage and I'll have one sad 7 year old on my hands..not to mention 20+ kids with no primary activity....
So pray for sun (or even clouds) on Saturday and quick travel news.... More later...
